Lovely surroundings and great place to stay in sigiriya

Lovely surroundings and a fantastic pool area with plenty of walks in the grounds and loads of animals and nature. Overall the staff were lovely and made us feel very welcome and at home. Helped us with any queries and the bungalows were very spacious and great value

Slight mix up at check in where they tried to charge me double but I do think it was an honest mistake although I had to really push to get the guy to check to realise the price on my reservation is correct. No big deal but I could have easily paid double for my reservation if I hadn't of insisted.

Amazing stay in Sigiriya!

Warm welcome. The staff was very kind. The room was very big and had everything. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom had one shower and a bathtub. Amazing views to The lion rock.

Great location, great property, would stay again

Great property! Kids loved the pool. Buffet was ok. So close to sigiriya

It wasn’t 4-5 star but great value for money. Staff were kind and helpful!

Beautiful location and friendly staff

The park, the animals, the view from the restaurant is breathtaking. The food is delicious from breakfast to dinner! Great staff, supere easy to communicate with and efficient. They helped us organized everything and suggested some very wise choices.

One minor thing, the drivers company they work with its quite expensive compared to the others we tried along our journey in Sri Lanka.

Great and peace of mind to stay at Sigiriya Village

Nice location surrounded by a lot of trees, the staff were friendly, nice restaurant with open area and you enjoy your breakfast with animal and bird sounds. The rooms were big and cleaning was superb. As the Sigiriya Village (Resort) is in the jungle you should expect to see any time the village guests (monkeys, lizards, snakes, etc.)

Wonderful

Beautiful park-like setting with a lot of wildlife. Well maintained facilities and spacious rooms. Wonderful view of the Sigiriya rock. Great swimming pool and lobby and dining area. Attentive and lovely staff.

The only thing would be that some food in the breakfast buffet wasn't freshly prepared like some curries, roti. It felt like they didn't have enough guests in order to make sense of a dinner and breakfast buffet at this time on the year in June. We really hoped the food doesn't go to waste.

Nice experience

Place was very near Sigiria Rock and its a like a big camp with rooms separated from each other. Very quite place and nice staff

Highly recommended!

The place is like a little botanical garden. It has a lot of greenes, the complex is very nice and great view on Sigiriya Rock. While you are having a swim you can enjoy the view that is spectacular. We only stayed one night there, but all in all we are very stisfied.

Great location for fun times in Sigiriya

The rooms were a good size and the setting was lovely. Fabulous view from the pool of Sigiriya rock.

The rooms were a little dated but we did have access to everything needed.

Good location for Sigiriya friendly staff

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The pool area is nice and the rooms are nice and clean. It's a nice place to enjoy nature and watch the monkeys!

There are better food options in the village, food was overpriced in the hotel

Excellent room.

Excellent room. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Excellent staff. Close to Sigiriya Rock.

WiFi was bad when I first stayed at this hotel in 2012. 7 years later the WiFi is even worse. Time to fix this!

We loved our stay so much.

We loved our stay so much. The room was very big and nice and the bathroom shower and tub were amazing. The breakfast, pool view and atmosphere is fanatic. Staff were so kind to us and there are Some cute monkey hanging about :)

Beautiful and convenient location. Great amenities. Excellent staff.

Great location!! Walking distance to Lion and Pidurangala as well as local restaurants. Bus stop is nearby for a cheap ride to Dambulla and it's also nice and close (as well as easy to organise through the hotel) to Kaudulla national park where we saw the elephant gathering.

Prices for dinner and drinks were higher than the local restaurants but this didn't worry us as there are many food options within walking distance.

The amazing view of Sigiriya rock from the pool. The food was good too

The pool need maintenance. And the bed sheets were not great. Also it would have been nice to have a blanket of some sort in the AC.

It was really great location to all the historical places.

It was really great location to all the historical places. Calm and quite environment with good hospitality. Rooms are really great, which they were in separately to each other.

When we called via telephone and asking about reservations they told no rooms it’s full. Then we done the booking via Booking.com and called them in English. All of a sudden, rooms are there for us. If they can treat natives also in the same way you treat foreigners, it’s really nice.
